experiment (not slacking off)

so playing games is a rather fun way to see what music can do to a situation. I decided to play Tekken on a few rounds, one with the games background music and one with the game on mute with a different soundtrack. I must say it was rather interesting to see how the experience changed with what music I used and what they chose to use

a start on info

Music within Media:

The transition of music (soundtrack and songs) is a way for the creator to communicate and manipulate emotions of the media towards the audience with different base and melodies. Looking past lyrics of a song, the choice of sounds (deep/high) used in a soundtrack can have deeper meaning than the visuals as they resonate with the viewers’ emotions and imagination.

Refrences

Using my own personal experience with music as well as the knowledge I have from my minor of Media Studies, I plan to gather a small group of people from different social groups in order to observe their tastes in media (mainly music) and attempt to gather an emotional response that is the same from all of them. I devise to create a soundtrack that will hold pieces of music I have designed to create emotional responses of a particular kind
